We have a well established and dedicated workforce, many of whom have been with us for over 25 years. All of the relevant building trades are covered by our in-house workforce but we also draw on an established pool of sub-contractors whom we have utilised successfully for many years. We operate as a team, working and interacting together to produce a high quality end product.
We are based in Gateshead and operate across the North East region.
Our Project Management Team has vast experience in all aspects of the General Building Industry and are responsible for interfacing with clients and consultants, contract procurement, contract planning and overall contract management.
Tender preparation, cost control and contractual requirements are dealt with and managed by our Quantity Surveying Team who have a deep knowledge of how the General Building Industry operates.
We will generally have several projects running simultaneously. Each operating site is controlled by a designated Site Manager who is responsible for all aspects of contract execution. Each Site Manager has the full support of the Project Management Team. This, together with well established office and on-site procedures, combined with an ethos of communication and forward planning, ensures that each project is completed successfully, within budget and within the stipulated time frame.
We typically work on projects with a value range between £150,000 – £1,500,000.
The Health & Safety of our workforce, clients and clients’ representatives is of paramount importance and our entire operation is controlled by strict adherence to our Health and Safety Policy.
We operate both in-house and externally sourced health and safety staff training which allows us to meet the requirements of accreditation to CHAS. All of our workforce are members of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme and hold CSCS cards relevant to their experience and skills.
We are highly aware of our responsibilities in terms of the environmental consequences of our activities and we have a developed environmental policy which guides all of our activities and which is strictly adhered to.
